Soooooo excited for Gracie’s new album to come out this summer. Hit the Wall (the first single) has been on repeat all the weekend. I already made this pun/joke on IG but this is Substack so joke repeats don’t count — I was playing tennis (by hitting w the wall) and when she sang “watch my blade ricochet” I literally stopped and laughed out loud (my racket is a Wilson blade). Gracie confirmed tennis girlie and blade girlie!!

Me, Kenni, and Googe lived together for 3 (technically me and Googe for 4) years!!! Crazy.
Can’t really see it that well but there were people in McCarren Park dressed up like medieval times and having sword fights.
Abby and I didn’t mind tho we were on a walk!!
And were moved by some great street art. But really though, all you gotta do.
Energy in my apt felt negative so the palo santo has come out quite a bit.
Was told I looked extra “glowy” at the office…yeah yikes.

Megan has been dying to go to Hillstone since it’s NYCs Chilis/Applebees/Fridays and we finally went!!
This sushi was pretty. Lowkey why do they have sushi though.
I mean, it’s kind of not that good, and I prefer Chilis but whatever!!
My mom once yelled at me and Megan senior year of HS that we needed to get out of the house more and stop sitting around so we went to Fridays and just split a Brownie Obsession, this brought back that memory so fast.
The only person I’d want to share this brownie obsession wannabe dessert with!
Just earlier that day Julianna stole my wallet (we have the same wallet and she took mine by accident) — theif!
But got to see some lovelies out of getting my wallet back.
Convinced it was a ploy to get me to the bar tbh.
A lovely send off for Molly before she goes to law school though!! I will simply be lost without her I do not know how I will continue (actually I know how, poorly).

Soooo I tried to give myself a french manicure (recession indicator) — we’re still working on technique!

Gotta admit, I know you all know my rule about coke zero or diet coke only being legit coke-branded, but this cola zero from Eataly was quite good.

The occulus really is that girl, and this bear outside? Love her too.
Yay drinks outside with friends when it’s finally nice out again. We survived that winter and earned this!

And to bring in some nostalgia we went to Sundaes and Cones in the East Village. The amount of times we’d come here in college wow. I am actually shocked the line was so short?? Everyone too busy eating shitty froyo in the West Village.

Woke up Sunday with a strong desire to “Hit the Wall” as Gracie Abrams would say. It felt so good.
And meet Kenni for a drink outside at Hotel Delmano!!
And a quick stop at Dokebi to see Tin off before his Ironman next week!
